About the Scholarship

The 1982 Green Machine Scholarship is awarded to full-time juniors and seniors who demonstrate leadership and school/community service. Students with an interest in the Hawaiian language, culture, and history are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to applicants of Hawaiian ancestry likely to be nontraditional students, such as single parents, sole providers, homeless, disabled, or wards of the court.

Eligibility Requirements

Minimum 3.0 GPA
Seeking a bachelor’s degree as a fulltime student
Current college junior or senior
Demonstrate interest in leadership, school service, community contribution, and Hawaiian language, culture, history Preference is given to applicants of Hawaiian ancestry and nontraditional students (single parent, sole provider, homeless, disabled, ward of the court).
