About the Scholarship

“Second Chances” Scholarship in Memory of Dorothy Yothers provides financial assistance to mature women in Washington state who are interested in pursuing vocational training.

Eligibility Requirements

This program is open to women older than 25 years of age who are residents of Washington.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens and planning to enroll in a course of vocational/technical training that does not exceed 2 years in length.
Students seeking education that requires a 4year degree are ineligible.
Selection is based on motivation, skills, and financial need.
